Hank Chisholm, CJF

A graduate of Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in 1986, Hank completed the basic certification in the early 90’s and Journeyman certification in 1997. Hank built his farrier business of 32 years with a focus on equine athletes, such as, barrel, rope, and reining horses, as well as, hunters and show jumpers.

He has been an active member of the Southern Farriers Association (AFA),and served as president for 6 years. Hank was honored by the AFA at the 2015 AFA convention being awarded the Edward Martin Humanitarian award. Through his drive to promote education through certification, Hank became a Certified Tester and a Certified Instructor for the AFA. In 2018, he was honored with the Walt Taylor Award for his service and devotion to the farrier profession.

At Blue Equine LLC, we are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and skilled farrier. Hank has dedicated his life to continued learning for the betterment of his service to equine athletes. Hank has also committed to improving his field for years to come by educating other farriers and advancing the curriculum.
